Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences (Kotlin)

Location: Albuquerque, NM, USA

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and manage integration and UX tradeoffs.
• Deliver solutions through a cross-platform SDK that powers hirify.global’s product experience.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
• Design efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong systems thinking and end-to-end design skills.
• Experience designing clear, reliable APIs and simple, maintainable systems.
• Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and balance immediate delivery with longer-term improvements.
• Strong collaboration skills with designers, marketers, product managers, and other product teams.
• Preferred stack: Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role centers on Kotlin Multiplatform.

• Prior experience with GCP.
