Senior Fullstack Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Developer (PHP/Laravel/React): Building and optimizing a multi-lender fintech platform focusing on loan origination and payment infrastructure with an accent on scalable API-driven architecture and secure money movement. Focus on implementing complex underwriting workflows, integrating third-party financial services, and managing high-security PII data.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Argentina or Brazil). Working hours: 12 PM – 8/9 PM EST

What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend services using PHP (Laravel) and MySQL.
• Develop RESTful APIs for loan origination, funding, and settlement flows.
• Integrate third-party APIs including payment processors, KYC providers, and credit bureaus.
• Support frontend development using React.js to build API-connected UI components.
• Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3) and collaborate on CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance and security when handling sensitive PII and financial calculations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend or fullstack development.
• Proficiency in PHP (Laravel) and React.js.
• Strong MySQL database design and optimization skills.
• Proven experience in fintech, lending, or payments platforms.
• Experience working within AWS environments.
• English: B2+ minimum

Nice to have

• Experience with financial calculations (APR, amortization schedules).
• Knowledge of queue systems (Redis, SQS) or GraphQL.
• Experience building audit logs and compliance reporting features.
