Test Manager (Insurance)

What you will do

• Define and implement overall test strategies, approaches, and detailed test plans.
• Oversee all testing activities, including SIT, UAT, Pentest, Performance, and Regression testing.
• Manage test environments, tools, and data setup to ensure readiness for execution.
• Coordinate end-to-end testing flows across cross-functional teams and business users.
• Track test execution metrics and communicate risks and results to stakeholders.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings and prioritize resolutions based on business risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools such as JIRA and HPALM.
• Experience managing large-scale IT projects with complex integrations.
• Practical knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Kanban).
• Location: Must be based in Kuala Lumpur

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in General or Life insurance products.
• Experience managing testing in application development projects for web, mobile, and enterprise systems.
