Test Manager

What you will do

• Develop and maintain test strategy and comprehensive test plans
• Review, restructure, and improve test documentation, filling gaps
• Select testing tools and technology stack (Java-compatible)
• Plan and manage test cycles aligned with Waterfall phases
• Coordinate daily activities of internal/external testers and automation engineers
• Oversee defect management, escalations, and status reporting to stakeholders

Requirements

• ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Manager certification (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in test management
• Experience in at least 2 completed Waterfall projects (with references)
• Strong experience testing complex systems (Web, API, and/or Desktop applications)
• Proven track record in reviewing and improving test documentation
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to work in structured enterprise environments

Nice to have

• Fluent Hungarian and English (written and spoken)
• ISTQB Expert Level certification (any specialization)
• Experience in financial services or public sector environments
• Experience with test automation and managing automation teams
• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks
