Salary: $240,000–$280,000 per annum

What you will do
- Build and deliver a rolling 3-year security strategy encompassing people, process, and technology.
- Optimize Security Operations (SecOps) to improve detection quality and signal fidelity across SIEM, EDR, and cloud platforms.
- Establish a zero-trust identity architecture with adaptive MFA and passwordless access to balance security with user experience.
- Secure collaboration suites (Google Workspace/M365), SaaS platforms, and DevOps environments using least-privilege access.
- Guide security engineering focused on automation, tooling effectiveness, and integrating guardrails into CI/CD workflows.
- Maintain alignment with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards using NIST CSF and risk frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven track record leading multi-year security modernization programs in global, fast-moving environments.
- Deep expertise in zero-trust architectures, cloud-native security, identity management (WorkOS/Entra), and DevSecOps.
- Experience aligning security programs to NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex risks into actionable narratives for executives and engineers.
- Experience guiding transparent and well-managed incident responses in high-pressure situations.
- Must be based in or able to work in New York, US as part of a hybrid working model.
