What you will do

• Supervise IT issue tracking and resolution for a large fleet of bare-metal Linux servers and network equipment across hundreds of venues in Europe.
• Assist venue operations coordinators with equipment preparation and installation based on automation processes.
• Act as a technical escalation point and collate improvements to increase team efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers to eliminate common systemic issues.
• Communicate with external venue IT and management staff.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with system and network administration on infrastructure with 100+ Linux servers.
• Strong understanding of the entire Linux server stack: OS boot, installation, networking, container deployment, logging, and metrics.
• Deep knowledge of OSI network layers 2-3-4, including switching, VLANs, routing, firewall rules, ARP, DHCP, DNS, and TCP.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including customers and engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with remote fleet management without physical access.
• Experience automating Linux and network equipment configuration with Ansible.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM).
