What you will do

• Manage payables activities, including approvals and transaction setup.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for cash and investment accounts.
• Track premiums earned and losses incurred.
• Prepare invoices and process payments and deposits.
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and regulatory reports.
• Assist with the preparation of premium, income, and excise tax returns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• 0–1 years of accounting experience.
• Intermediate Excel and accounting software skills.
• Knowledge of SharePoint.
• Must be based in Charleston, SC.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
