What you will do

• Develop interior design deliverables, FF&E planning, and space planning throughout all project phases
• Coordinate room-level planning and operational requirements
• Support design outputs for installation, occupancy, and activation readiness
• Coordinate with project management, transition planning teams, architects, engineers, and stakeholders
• Produce accurate, organized deliverables for Government review and ensure compliance with VA design standards
• Mentor less experienced design staff

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional interior design experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Experience with space planning and FF&E coordination
• NCIDQ or AAHID/CHID certification required
• Expert communication, documentation, oral, and written skills
• Fluent in SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, Enscape, and emerging technologies
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Must be a US Citizen; sponsorship not supported

• Experience supporting facility opening or transition efforts
