Business and Finance Analyst (CRO)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes including reports, forecasts, and management packages.
• Analyze P&L variances at project, department, and company levels between actuals, budget, and forecast.
• Partner with Accounting to validate results and partner with teams for performance insights and reporting.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain financial models, improve processes, controls, and reporting tools.
• Handle ad hoc analysis, audit requests, and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in services-based environment with project-based revenue, forecasting, and margin analysis (CRO experience preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of clinical trials and drug development processes.
