What you will do

• Provide research support to the EMEA Private Capital team on alternative investments, venture capital, private equity, institutional allocators, and economic conditions.
• Establish research frameworks for independent commentary, evaluations, forecasts, and unique themes impacting private markets.
• Utilize proprietary hirify.global data, online sources, newspapers, academic papers, and company research to develop actionable analysis.
• Write and edit research reports according to the publishing calendar and manage direct-to-client distribution channels.
• Work with data analysis team, present research, respond to inquiries from clients, press, and colleagues.
• Develop relationships with industry professionals to support primary research efforts and participate in company initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics preferred.
• Knowledge of financial concepts such as valuation techniques (DCF, comps), IRRs, portfolio management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interest in private financial markets including private equity and venture capital.
• 1+ years of experience in equity research or related financial services role.
• Critical thinker, detail-oriented, self-starter with analytical mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to learn new systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom without visa sponsorship.
