What you will do

• Redesign legacy fintech workflows into AI-native systems using LLM-backed services.
• Build multi-step agents and RAG systems connected to internal production APIs.
• Design hybrid architectures that blend deterministic logic with probabilistic reasoning.
• Implement model routing, cost-aware execution, and fallback systems.
• Own reliability, evaluation, and observability of AI systems in a regulated environment.
• Introduce AI-native development workflows to increase engineering leverage across the team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building production backend or full-stack systems.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building and shipping mobile applications with React Native or similar.
• Proven track record of shipping production AI systems, including structured outputs and agent orchestration.
• Cloud-native experience, preferably with AWS, including CI/CD and IaC.
• Comfort working with distributed systems in regulated or data-sensitive environments.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python for AI experimentation.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to modern architectures.
• Experience building internal AI platforms.
