What you will do

• Set up and operate a variety of powder coating equipment and tooling.
• Interpret technical prints and geometric tolerances to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Inspect finished products for flaws, bubbles, or imperfections and remove defective items.
• Regulate drying oven temperature and air circulation, collaborating with Maintenance for equipment servicing.
• Manage inventory for powder, filters, and spare parts to prevent production delays.
• Mentor and train junior operators on problem-solving and processing techniques.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in setting up and operating powder coat equipment.
• Previous experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
• Strict eligibility: U.S. Citizens, green card holders, or refugee/asylee status (ITAR compliant).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 70 pounds.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with measuring instruments like calipers and protractors.
