TL;DR

Vice President, Clinical Development (Oncology): Lead oncology clinical development efforts for allogeneic CAR T cell therapies with an accent on clinical trials execution, protocol development, and cross-functional strategy. Focus on overseeing data analysis, regulatory interactions, and asset team leadership to advance product candidates.

Location: Remote in South San Francisco, CA with frequent travel to South San Francisco or Los Angeles offices. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: From $360,000 to $425,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead the oncology clinical development team, managing performance, coaching, and development.
  • Oversee clinical trials execution, data collection, analysis, and protocol development in compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with medical affairs on scientific communications, congress planning, and advisory boards.
  • Serve as key member or leader of oncology asset teams for strategy development and execution.
  • Represent clinical development at senior executive meetings and with regulatory authorities, partners, and vendors.
  • Drive change initiatives and broad programs aligned with company vision.

Requirements

  • MD with completed residency and oncology fellowship; extensive industry leadership in oncology treatments (cell therapy highly desirable).
  • Global experience in clinical trials and post-marketing (cell therapy preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of US, EU, and Asian regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage CROs and vendors.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
