Product Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Product Engineer (AI/Fullstack): Building an agentic data intelligence platform that allows AI to understand, reason about, and take action on company data with an accent on creating a shared data world model. Focus on designing autonomous agents that execute complex workflows and generate high-quality reports and dashboards.

Location: Hybrid in San Mateo, CA (in-office three days a week)

Salary: $150,000–$250,000 (for SF Bay Area)

What you will do

• Collaborate directly with founders to define product direction and build core systems.
• Develop and ship end-to-end user experiences and production web applications.
• Build AI agents capable of developing business context, exploring data, and executing autonomous workflows.
• Engineer and maintain real-time, production-grade data pipelines.
• Take full ownership of problems from initial ideation through to production deployment.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience building production web applications.
• Proficiency in modern web stacks including TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience with backend systems and APIs using Node, Python, Flask, or similar.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and data-intensive applications.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Mateo, CA for the required hybrid schedule.
