What you will do
- Own end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the business banking platform.
- Lead technical discussions on payment systems including ACH, wire transfers, card networks, and real-time payments.
- Define APIs, data models, and integration patterns in close partnership with engineering.
- Act as the primary product point of contact for clients during implementation and strategy discussions.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear specifications and user stories.
- Provide mentorship to junior product managers to scale the product organization.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Canada
- 8+ years of product management experience in financial services or B2B fintech.
- Strong technical fluency with APIs, system integrations, and product architecture.
- Deep knowledge of payment rails (ACH, wire transfers, RTP) and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Engineering, Sales, and Client Success.
Nice to have
- Experience working with credit unions or community banks.
- Familiarity with digital banking vendors such as Q2, Apiture, Temenos, or Fiserv.
