Location: Open to Latin American talent for North American clients (Company based in Tampa, Florida)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary operational expert for internal engineering teams to diagnose and resolve complex challenges within Kubernetes environments.
• Analyze recurring operational issues to identify patterns and implement strategic improvements to processes, tooling, and systems.
• Execute experiments in development environments to determine resource requirements for various EKS workloads.
• Develop and implement automation for EKS workload configurations to ensure consistent operation.
• Define and refine a structured taxonomy of alerts and notifications based on compute patterns.
• Participate in defining EKS standards and developing platform governance policies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related operational roles.
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS environments and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK stack.
• Experience scripting and automating tasks using Python.

Nice to have

• Experience using Go or Bash.
