What you will do

• Own features end-to-end from design discussions through to production rollout and monitoring.
• Ship TypeScript code across the web app, Node/Express backend, and mobile application.
• Design and build fault-tolerant, HIPAA-compliant services with a strict focus on privacy, security, and stability.
• Maintain thorough documentation to ensure team velocity and clarity.
• Integrate the latest AI tools and SDKs to build AI-enriched product features.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with advanced TypeScript skills.
• Experience delivering in fast-paced startup environments with ambiguous requirements.
• Strong proficiency in backend design and data modeling using SQL/Postgres.
• Ability to write reliable tests using Vitest, Cypress, or Jest.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI SDKs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) in production software.
• Background in building or maintaining HIPAA-compliant or regulated healthcare software.
• Deep expertise in React Native or complex systems architecture.
• Comfort with monorepos and internal tooling such as Retool.
