What you will do

• Analyze requirements and develop test scenarios and success criteria.
• Document and execute test cases, reporting findings.
• Provide inputs on test planning, risks, and estimates.
• Perform data validation using SQL queries on databases.
• Execute manual testing to validate calculation accuracy and reliability.
• Supervise automated test scenarios and investigate root causes of issues.
• Assist in resolving customer-reported product issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on experience in manual/functional testing, ideally backend or data-driven applications
• Understanding of software testing concepts, bug life cycle, testing levels, methods, and estimation techniques
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or equivalent (knowledge of Supply Chain Management advantageous)
• Strong SQL skills for test data preparation and results analysis
• Experience validating mathematical, predictive, and statistical algorithms
• Fluent Italian and English (C1) required
• Comfortable in agile, iterative development; good communication and teamwork

Nice to have

• Experience with JIRA, Git, XRAY or equivalent
• Tools like Excel, Postman, Playwright
