Senior Automation QA Engineer

Senior Automation QA Engineer (Frontend): Perform manual, functional, regression, and E2E testing for hirify.global’s market data platform including homepage, navigation, and symbol pages with an accent on product correctness, usability, performance, and user experience. Focus on identifying bugs, validating against requirements and real-world scenarios, handling user issues, and expanding test automation coverage.

What you will do

• Perform comprehensive manual testing of frontend applications including functional and regression testing for product stability.
• Identify, analyze, reproduce, and document bugs with clear detail.
• Validate functionality against requirements, mockups, usability expectations, data accuracy, and edge cases.
• Handle user-reported issues and translate them into actionable developer tasks.
• Create, maintain, and improve test documentation, plans, and cases; review mockups and requirements early.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, product, and project managers; contribute to E2E testing of critical user journeys and expand automation coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, sense of ownership, and understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and best practices.
• Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Test Case Design, and hands-on with at least one E2E framework (preferably Playwright or Selenium).
• Familiarity with test reporting tools like Allure Reports, browser DevTools for debugging, Jira, and Confluence.
• Basic understanding of test planning and execution; strong communication skills for team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Exposure to Python for scripting or test automation.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and unit testing frameworks like Jest.
• Experience in finance or trading domain; familiarity with hirify.global product.
