Systems Engineer (Federal)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of operating systems for servers, PCs, Macs, scanners, and printers.
• Oversee preventive maintenance contracts and ensure compliance with hardware and software security policies.
• Coordinate with help desk teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and manage system upgrades.
• Inventory legacy business applications and perform ETL processing, including data cleansing and transformation.
• Support data migration efforts to Salesforce or Oracle platforms and manage the decommissioning of legacy applications.
• Implement data archiving strategies using Adobe tools and Apple Macintosh systems.

Requirements

• Experience in IT systems administration, technical support, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Oracle Developer Suite 11g, SQL*Plus 11g, and TOAD.
• Knowledge of ETL processing, data transformation, and data archiving techniques.
• Familiarity with Erwin Data Modeler for database modeling and documentation.
• Experience with Salesforce data integration and Oracle-based application environments.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
