What you will do

• Service, test, calibrate, and repair specialist medical equipment to defined standards
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance in line with service contracts and SLAs
• Respond to breakdowns and urgent repairs with on-site and remote support
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and instrumentation faults
• Produce accurate service, maintenance, and validation documentation using Salesforce
• Manage service parts inventory and build long-term customer relationships

Requirements

• Qualification or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
• Experience as Field Service Engineer or onsite maintenance engineer, ideally in Life Sciences, pharma, biotech, or regulated environments
• Solid technical foundation across instrumentation, mechanics, electrics, and electronics
• Strong organisational skills and calm approach under pressure
• Confidence working directly with customers in production or laboratory settings
• Willingness to travel up to 80% across South of England & Midlands
• Good IT skills for service software, diagnostics, and reporting

Nice to have

• Knowledge of service/testing sterilisers and/or bioreactors
• Experience in field-based or onsite role supporting multiple customers
