Systems Engineer (Azure/VMware)

TL;DR

Systems Engineer (Azure/VMware): Managing day-to-day operation and maintenance of servers, storage, and infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments with an accent on MS Azure architecture and VMware virtualization. What you will do

• Manage MS Azure architecture, including Entra ID, MS Intune, and VNets.
• Configure and troubleshoot Storage Area Network (SAN) devices and NAS connectivity.
• Build, administer, and troubleshoot VMware vSphere/vCenter environments.
• Oversee Windows Administration, Active Directory domain design, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery, high availability, and failover clustering.
• Manage backup appliances, cloud storage, and O365 Exchange servers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Azure, VMware, and Windows Administration.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Azure CLI.
• Experience with Cisco UCS or similar computing systems.
• Deep knowledge of SAN/NAS connectivity (SMB3, iSCSI, multipath I/O).
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HITRUST or HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with Mimecast, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, or similar security tools.
• Proficiency in systems monitoring tools like SolarWinds, WSUS, or Netwrix.
• Experience with VOIP systems.
• Professional certifications in relevant technical domains.
