Cloud Network Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid (Monday through Thursday in the New York office, Fridays remote)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable cloud network solutions to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Manage and deploy end-to-end cloud infrastructure, including multi-tenancy, virtualization, and orchestration.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Ansible to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain high availability.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive patient data (PI/PHI).
• Manage firewalls and access controls while maintaining detailed network documentation.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in network engineering with a strong cloud focus.
• Hands-on experience with Azure (AWS or GCP experience also considered).
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, and STP.
• Experience with security and monitoring tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or CrowdStrike.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, or similar healthcare compliance frameworks.
• Must be based in New York for onsite work Monday through Thursday.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls and load balancers.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP or certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
