What you will do

• Develop algorithms for CD-SEM image analysis and other image-based measurements for mask manufacturing.
• Implement new features and define requirements for internal software tools used in production.
• Maintain and refactor legacy software applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot algorithm and software errors and performance issues.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure software stability in a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document changes and implement new analysis capabilities.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in image processing, computer vision, computational geometry, or graphics.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience using C++, including design patterns, templates, and multi-threading.
• Experience with large-scale software design.
• Must be able to work on-site in Santa Clara, California.

Nice to have

• Experience developing cross-platform applications in Linux and Windows environments.
• Proficiency with CMake, GDB, Visual Studio, and version control (Git/SVN).
• Experience with OpenGL or other graphics APIs.
• Knowledge of GUI toolkits such as QT, wxWidgets, or FLTK.
• Experience with numerical optimization algorithms or physics-based graphics.
• Proficiency in Python.
