What you will do

• Monitor and interpret MRP output to schedule, release, and maintain manufacturing orders.
• Initiate shop orders and evaluate cost-effective methods for meeting material requirements.
• Maintain just-in-time inventory and resolve material issues to achieve business metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to expedite material flow and determine material substitutions.
• Partner with scheduling and production to coordinate or adjust delivery schedules.
• Review overdue manufacturing orders to identify causes of delay and initiate corrective actions.

Requirements

• High school degree required; college degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of Infor XA and MS Office.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and interpret technical instructions.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Proven experience with planning, scheduling procedures, and expediting materials.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify).
