Compensation: $235,000 – $265,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and evolution of core platform systems, including container orchestration, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
• Define and own cross-team technical strategies to align stakeholders and execute high-leverage infrastructure investments.
• Develop scalable shared platform abstractions and tooling to increase the velocity of product teams.
• Improve engineering processes related to reliability, deployment strategies, incident response, and architecture reviews.
• Resolve complex production issues across the full infrastructure stack and provide leadership during incidents.
• Mentor engineers across the organization to raise the bar for technical design and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven track record of designing and evolving large-scale, business-critical Kubernetes platforms.
• Deep experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD systems.
• Strong software engineering skills, preferably within the Go ecosystem.
• Deep knowledge of networking and systems fundamentals (TCP/UDP, HTTP, TLS, DNS, Linux).
• Ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and influence engineering leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with video technologies (ingest, live-streaming, RTMP, global networking).
• Knowledge of event streaming platforms like Apache Kafka.
• Experience with distributed databases such as CockroachDB or ClickHouse.
• Expertise in edge networking and service mesh technologies (Envoy, Cilium).
