What you will do

• Perform complex coding for CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 focusing on high-impact, payer-sensitive services.
• Lead the expansion and validation of new Medicaid and state-specific codes.
• Conduct deep-dive research on payer policies and fee schedules across MCOs and commercial plans.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for coding logic in AI and automation initiatives.
• Perform manual chart reviews using Medical Decision Making (MDM) guidelines to validate E/M levels.
• Analyze coding-related denials to identify root causes and drive upstream systemic fixes.

Requirements

• Active coding certification (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
• 5+ years of medical coding experience with strong Medicaid and MCO billing expertise.
• Deep expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Advanced knowledge of modifier usage and E/M coding (MDM).
• Must be authorized to work in the US (E-Verify participant).
• Availability to work 40 hours a week on EST hours.
