Salary: $170,000–$230,000

What you will do

• Architect and implement iOS components for hardware communication via BLE and Wi-Fi.
• Define and evolve iOS software architecture and communication protocols, ensuring consistency across platforms.
• Optimize connectivity software for performance, power efficiency, and reliability.
• Drive architectural standards for scalable, modular, and testable software across the organization.
• Manage a prioritized backlog focused on code health and technical debt reduction.
• Coordinate with firmware and product teams for bug triage and App Store release processes.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional iOS engineering experience with Swift, iOS system APIs, and memory management.
• Hands-on experience with Combine and background task processing.
• Proven track record of influencing software design principles to build scalable systems.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the hirify.global office in Boston, MA.
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day development.
