What you will do

• Lead teams of firmware engineers through all project phases from design to implementation.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to develop and implement control algorithms for machine control.
• Assist bid and proposal teams in estimating labor hours and material costs for customer projects.
• Work with test engineers to verify firmware functionality within live mail‑processing environments.
• Manage the end‑to‑end development of firmware for various industrial applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of firmware development experience creating algorithms and troubleshooting control systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Experience with Altera NIOS II software build tools for Eclipse.
• Experience with MicroChip dsPIC processors and MPLAB X IDE build tools.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
