TL;DR

What you will do

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar PV sites to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems, including inverters, substations, and SEL relays.
  • Manage on-site contractors and ensure strict adherence to hirify.global safety procedures.
  • Coordinate warranty claims processes with EPC providers and equipment vendors.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation, including service tickets, switching orders, and safety permits (LOTO, JHA).
  • Track inventory levels and initiate re-orders for consumables and spare parts.

Requirements

  • Must live in or within a 45-minute commute of the project in Oak Ridge, Louisiana.
  • Familiarity with industrial PV solar plants and electrical protocols (OSHA standards, NFPA 70e, Lockout/Tagout).
  • Ability to read and interpret equipment schematics, maintenance manuals, and process documents.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a TWIC within 90 days of employment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Sungrow solar inverters and ATI trackers.
  • NFPA 70E and OSHA 30 Certifications.
  • College or Technical degree in a related field.
