What you will do

• Build and test new security features within a large, feature-rich C++ codebase.
• Implement cryptography systems, including queryable encryption and data-at-rest encryption.
• Develop authentication and authorization systems, including TLS and X.509 certificate management.
• Optimize high-performance, low-latency network security protocols such as PKI, Hashing, and CRLs.
• Collaborate across engineering, cloud services, and support teams to coordinate feature rollouts.
• Mentor other engineers and advocate for code quality and security best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building distributed systems.
• Proficiency in a compiled language such as C++, Rust, Go, or Java.
• Strong understanding of modern computer architecture and OS internals.
• Competency in data structures, algorithms, and software design/architecture.
• Must be based in the USA or Canada.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
