Project Manager Internship (AI/IoT)

Location: Hybrid (must be based in Lisbon or Leiria, Portugal). New hires are required to spend at least 3 full days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of customer implementation projects to ensure alignment with scope and quality.
• Collaborate with customers to understand industrial processes and integrate AR, AI, and IoT solutions.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, identify risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Draft technical documentation, project reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, to ensure smooth project rollouts.
• Improve and document project management processes and implementation playbooks.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Industrial Management Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of industrial project management, lean manufacturing, or process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Must be based in Leiria or Lisbon, Portugal.
• Interest in digital transformation technologies applied to manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Spanish language proficiency.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Notion.
• Previous internship or project experience in an industrial setting.
• Eligibility for the IEFP professional internship.
