What you will do

• Ensure the integrity of relevant P&L and balance sheet areas.
• Support the accounting team with monthly closing activities.
• Analyze deviations for cost, productivity, and non-financial indicators in collaboration with departments.
• Manage budget planning and forecasting processes and analyze actual deviations.
• Provide profitability analysis and evaluate project scenarios to support decision-making.
• Create reports and monthly target-performance reviews of operational KPIs.

Requirements

• Degree in economics or a comparable degree with a focus on finance or controlling.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of accounting processes.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German.
• Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking for delivering decision support and forecasting.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP and Hyperion Financial Management reporting systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) processes.
• Experience with standard costing or activity-based costing systems.
