Group Accountant

TL;DR

Group Accountant (Finance & Accounting): Maintain accurate financial records and manage operations across multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction group structure with an accent on intercompany transactions, statutory compliance, and transfer pricing. Focus on processing journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closes, and supporting ERP implementation and audits.

Location: Hybrid in Barcelona with relocation support if moving to Barcelona

What you will do

• Maintain accounting records, process journal entries, accruals, and prepayments across group entities
• Manage AP/AR cycles, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Support month-end/year-end closes, tax returns, transfer pricing, and annual audits
• Assist with ERP system selection, implementation, data migration, and finance policies
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience
• Fluency in English and Spanish mandatory
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Strong knowledge of Spanish GAAP/IFRS, financial statements, and internal controls
• Precision in handling datasets, identifying discrepancies, and time management skills
