TL;DR

Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager (Power BI): Translating complex workforce data into engaging visualizations and Generative BI solutions to support People & Places strategy with an accent on data storytelling, dashboard development, and innovative analytics. Focus on owning end-to-end delivery of complex Power BI dashboards, integrating emerging technologies, and shaping the visualization roadmap aligned to strategic priorities.

Location: Bristol (Hybrid: at least two days per week or 40% of time in office)

Salary: £61,344 - £68,160

What you will do

  • Translate complex data into engaging visualizations and Generative BI solutions for decision-making in People & Places.
  • Drive exploration and integration of emerging technologies like Generative BI into strategy.
  • Enhance and maintain existing Power BI solutions for accuracy and usability.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex dashboards, managing planning, prioritization, risks, and storytelling standards.
  • Shape and evolve the visualization roadmap aligned to strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Expertise in data storytelling, visualization, and dashboard development with proficiency in Tableau and Power BI (2-3 years experience highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of Generative BI is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in business analytics, BI, or reporting in data-driven organizations (People Data advantageous).
  • Comfortable with large datasets and sourcing from platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP preferred).
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies in an agile environment.
  • Ability to contribute to a data-driven culture.
