Data Analyst

TL;DR

Data Analyst (Tableau/Snowflake): Developing, maintaining, and enhancing Tableau dashboards and data models for GDFP IFRS 17 reporting platform with an accent on migration activities, testing, reconciliation, and governed reporting standards. Focus on advancing Tableau practices through CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitHub version control, and Python-based automation in a controlled SDLC environment.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, data sources, and extracts ensuring accuracy, performance, and alignment with reporting standards
• Lead migration of Tableau workbooks and data sources as Snowflake platforms are re-engineered and moved to a new server
• Implement stronger SDLC controls including Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Python-based Tableau tooling
• Plan and execute testing, reconciliation, and produce auditable artefacts like test scripts and reports
• Collaborate with data engineering, QA, governance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver changes
• Provide BAU support for dashboards including monitoring, incident resolution, and performance optimisation

Requirements

• Degree in technical/numerate discipline, Level 4 apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in data analysis and visualisation
• Strong experience with high-volume datasets, data testing, and reconciliation
• Proven expertise in Tableau dashboards, workbooks, data sources, calculations, extracts, and performance optimisation
• SQL skills for designing and maintaining reporting datasets and data models, adaptable to Snowflake changes
• Ability to automate processes, manage workload independently, and adhere to governance in controlled environments
• Comfortable collaborating across teams in governed delivery models

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Git/GitHub, CI/CD, or data preparation tools like Alteryx
