QA Test Analyst

TL;DR

QA Test Analyst: Analysing and testing data for IT systems and services to enable solution delivery with an accent on test lifecycle management, automation, and collaboration with technical teams. Focus on creating detailed test plans, scripts, cases, and reports, querying databases with T-SQL, and ensuring quality through UAT completion.

Hybrid: expected to work at Head Office in Nottingham twice a week.

What you will do

• Review specifications and requirements to produce test plans, scripts, cases, and exit reports.
• Query test tables across multiple databases using T-SQL.
• Perform hands-on test automation, leveraging tools like Leapworks or Playwright.
• Escalate issues and risks to Project Manager, host defect triage and risk review meetings.
• Build relationships across internal and external teams to improve solution quality and efficiency.
• Influence Development, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Database teams on testing requirements.

Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge in testing, including T-SQL for queries and test tables.
• Experience writing test scripts and regression packs.
• Hands-on automation experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for reporting and collaboration.
• Ability to work hybrid in Nottingham twice a week.
