What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive configuration management plans.
• Establish and maintain centralized repositories for configuration items.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to track, manage, and automate changes to hardware, software, and documentation.
• Implement rigorous change control processes to evaluate, approve, and deploy modifications.
• Monitor and audit configurations for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Generate reports and analytics on configuration trends and issues.
• Provide training and support on configuration management and Azure DevOps best practices.
• Foster continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as Configuration Manager or similar role, preferably in research or governmental organizations.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management principles, practices, and tools.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodology.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and staff training.

Nice to have

• Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., ITIL, PMP).
• Experience with other configuration management tools and technologies.
