What you will do

• Manage the daily operations and performance of Systems and SRE teams.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical infrastructure issues.
• Drive the modernization of infrastructure toward a container-first model using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Partner with senior leadership to align technical roadmaps with manufacturing business priorities.
• Develop strategies for infrastructure automation and service monitoring.
• Mentor staff through competency modeling and professional development plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Systems Administration or Systems Engineering.
• Extensive experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong foundation in Linux administration, virtualization (VMware/AHV), and infrastructure as code.
• Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and Agile delivery.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
