What you will do

• Drive safety program excellence by implementing data-driven strategies, daily audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety training and champion continuous improvement initiatives balancing safety and efficiency.
• Serve as safety advisor and advocate, fostering culture through communication, coaching, and partnerships across organization levels.
• Build relationships with associates and leadership to drive behavioral changes and safety best practices.
• Transform safety data into narratives that influence change and boost engagement in initiatives.

Requirements

• Located in USA, ID, Boise; able to lift 49 lbs, stand/walk 12 hours, work in variable temperatures/noise, climb stairs.
• Flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• 1+ year EHS experience OR relevant bachelor's OR 6 months hirify.global safety role.
• Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel; maintaining confidentiality.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification (obtain within 3 weeks if needed).

Nice to have

• Experience in worker's compensation case management.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, customer focus.
• Experience leading teams, analyzing accidents/processes/machinery, job hazard analyses.
• Emergency response experience with current First Aid/CPR certificates.
