What you will do

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for electrical systems including lighting, power, low-voltage, and specialty systems.
• Prepare accurate labor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
• Develop complete bid proposals with pricing, schedules, and clarifications.
• Identify project risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
• Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data.
• Assist with change order pricing and budget revisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience estimating residential or commercial electrical projects
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and local building codes.
• Proficiency with estimating software.
