What you will do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems.
• Review plans, specifications, and documents to identify requirements and risks.
• Develop quantity take-offs and material lists using blueprints and electrical codes.
• Analyze and negotiate subcontractor and vendor quotes for inclusion in estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and teams to clarify scope and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain cost databases, ensure code compliance, assist in pre-bid meetings, and track actual costs vs. estimates.
