What you will do

• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment
• Develop competitive project bids and proposals
• Collaborate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Maintain cost databases and estimating tools, identify risks and savings

Requirements

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience in residential and commercial projects
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to have

• Background as an electrician or field experience
• Experience with ground-up and renovation projects
• Knowledge of local codes and industry standards
