TL;DR
Electrical Test Engineering Co-op (Medtech Hardware): Test, analyze, design, evaluate and debug circuits for next-generation wearable bio-sensors with an accent on analog and digital circuits, prototype bring-up and functional verification. Focus on hands-on lab experimentation, data acquisition, automation scripting and supporting Class 2 medical device commercialization.
Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA (expectation of 3-4 days in office)
Compensation: $36/hour

What you will do
- Contribute to testing and debugging circuits for product line expansions in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Support near and long-term commercialization of Class 2 compliant wearable bio-sensors.
- Handle prototype bring-up, functional verification and data analysis.
- Collaborate on hardware release processes with accountability for projects and deliverables.
Requirements
- Currently an electrical engineering student or new graduate
- Strong EE fundamentals including analog/digital circuits, math and physics
- Hands-on lab experience with soldering, multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies
- Experience in prototype debugging and functional verification
- Familiarity with schematic/layout tools (Altium bonus) and SPICE simulation
- Scripting for data analysis (Python plus), Office tools proficiency
- Strong communication, troubleshooting and minimal supervision capability
