TL;DR

SNE/Liaison Specialist (Regulatory Affairs): Reinforcing alignment with Member State authorities and European Commission on international cooperation and global health initiatives with an accent on coordinating EU positions, supporting African regulatory initiatives, and bilateral/multilateral engagements. Focus on developing the International Cooperation Platform, contributing to engagement frameworks, and preparing stakeholder interactions.

Location: Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

What you will do

  • Develop and operate the International Cooperation Platform for coordinating EU positions on international issues.
  • Support actions for African Medicines Agency and other African regulatory initiatives.
  • Engage with EU candidate countries and assigned regulatory partners.
  • Contribute to international engagement framework and EU global health initiatives.
  • Prepare meetings, background documents, and presentations for external stakeholders.
  • Enhance communications on international activities.

Requirements

  • EU citizen from EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Moldova or Ukraine
  • Currently employed in public sector (university, research institute, public hospital or regulatory body) in EU/EFTA/candidate countries/IGOs
  • University degree (3+ years) in pharmacy, medicine, global health, public administration, natural science, law or related
  • At least 3 years professional experience post-degree in regulatory affairs, global health or international affairs
  • Proven experience working with international partners and delivering international projects
  • Thorough knowledge of English (at least C1) and satisfactory knowledge of another EU language

Nice to have

  • Post-graduate qualifications in regulatory affairs, global health or international relations
  • Experience delivering health-related projects outside EU
  • Multicultural environment experience
  • Project or grant management experience
  • Knowledge of international global health framework
