Equity Research Associate (Industrial Distribution)

Salary: $70,000 - $125,000 a year

What you will do

• Build and maintain financial models, including 3-statement models
• Write research notes and create differentiated analyses
• Work with large data sets in Excel and source information independently
• Communicate with clients, sales, and traders as responsibilities expand
• Participate in the creative research process

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in sell-side research (Industrials preferred), buy-side, investment banking, public accounting, consulting, or Industrial Distribution industry
• Advanced financial modeling skills and 3-statement model experience
• SIE, Series 63, 86 & 87 preferred or to be completed within 90 days
• Strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, shortcuts), PowerPoint, and writing skills
• Bachelor's degree (Finance, Accounting, Math, or Statistics preferred) with minimum 3.5 GPA
• Comfortable with 10+ hour workdays and some weekends

Nice to have

• Bloomberg and/or FactSet skills
• MBA, CPA, or CFA
• Statistics knowledge (regression, variance, covariance, correlations)
