SEO/GEO Team Lead

What you will do

• Suggest and implement SEO best practices across client sites in various industries and sizes
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and generate topic ideas
• Conduct technical SEO audits, interpret site code, and recommend improvements like page speed and architecture
• Analyze performance with Google Search Console and create spreadsheets for recommendations
• Brainstorm experiments, coordinate SEO content creation, and develop link building ideas
• Communicate technical improvements to non-technical stakeholders and manage client relationships

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in an SEO role
• Experience with SEO tools like Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics
• Technical background for full SEO site audits and impactful recommendations
• Deep experience with eCommerce clients and understanding of search engine crawling/indexing/ranking
• Strong project management, analytical skills, and ability to juggle multiple projects independently
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS; experience with Excel/Google Sheets

Nice to have

• Experience with project management tools like Basecamp and Smartsheet
• Experience with eCommerce CMS like WordPress, Shopify; headless CMS a plus
• 2-3 years in an agency environment
• JavaScript knowledge
