Location: Resources centered around NYC, Albany NY, Austin TX, Chicago IL, Salt Lake City UT; operate remotely and onsite as needed nationally.

Salary: $150,000 - 200,000 annually

What you will do

• Apply consultative leadership to build rapport with clients and teams.
• Provide expert security advisory, compliance oversight, assessments, and high-quality reports including gap analysis and remediation plans.
• Lead and manage security analysts with oversight, direction, and mentoring.
• Deliver virtual CISO services on fractional model: develop/implement security programs, recommend controls/technologies, manage vendor risks, create roadmaps and incident response plans.
• Assist with business development: define needs, support RFPs, identify opportunities, create content, and speak at events.
• Architect security solutions tailored to client needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of CISO experience.
• Expert knowledge of frameworks/regulations: NIST, ISO, CMMC, PCI, COBIT, DFARS, HIPAA.
• Hands-on incident response coordination.
• Strong IT risk understanding across applications, infrastructure, networks, vendors.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Accounting, MIS or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications: CISA, CISM, CISSP or similar.
