What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-year security strategy and roadmap across the corporate entity and all member firms in a federated model.
• Lead security diligence and integration for M&A, including current-state assessments and post-close stabilization playbooks.
• Establish and maintain a security policy framework and minimum control baselines based on NIST CSF, CIS, and SOC 2 Type II.
• Provide security architecture oversight for Azure and hybrid environments, focusing on Intune, Microsoft Defender, and PAM.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations, including vulnerability management, MDR/SOC provider management, and incident response.
• Lead, coach, and develop the cybersecurity team while managing executive reporting and risk posture KPIs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security or cybersecurity.
• 3+ years of experience leading and developing security teams.
• Must have demonstrated M&A, private equity, or roll-up experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, and Microsoft security stack.
• Proven experience governing compliance standards such as NIST, CSF, CIS, and SOC2 Type II.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; CISSP certification preferred.
