What you will do

• Optimize suspension and steering kinematics and compliance using multibody dynamics modeling.
• Integrate chassis tuning parts and active control systems into performance simulations to meet ride, handling, and steering targets.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional vehicle dynamics master model framework and co-simulation packages.
• Improve model fidelity for chassis subsystems and full vehicle, integrating 1D data and control systems.
• Collaborate across functions to manage structural loads, create new load cases, and partner with test teams.
• Mentor team members, influence without authority, and promote customer-focused decisions globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, Science or related field.
• 5+ years relevant experience in automotive, aircraft, construction or related industries.
• Experience applying computational methods to engineering problems.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as MATLAB or Python for simulation automation and analysis.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, creative thinking, and ability to balance theory with practice.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and pass Motor Vehicle Report review.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering.
• Familiarity with CAE tools like Simpack, ADAMS, MotionView, Carsim, Carmaker, Matlab/Simulink, dSpace VEOS, Github.
• Advanced project/thesis in vehicle or multibody dynamics modeling.
• Practical automotive experience (building, modifying vehicles; performance driving).
• Participation in automotive teams (Mini-Baja, Formula SAE, etc.).
